The number of hours in each of our days is the same. But a few of us get more performed than others during that time. Why? What matters is how you focus your energy. And if you recognize the most common busy traps, that drain your time and energy. Here are three “cages” you may ignore to increase your productivity and happiness.
Don’t say “YES” at every opportunity
You might be wasting time, energy, and inspiration for a number of reasons. Choosing to say “yes” to almost everything is certainly one of the hardest. It might be difficult to refrain from doing this since it makes you feel good to be supportive and nice to others. However, if you capture every chance that arrives your way, you’ll spend all of your riches on things other than your own aspirations and ambitions. You and the individuals around you may feel stressed as a result of this.
Individuals will ultimately grow to dislike dealing with you. Because they are aware of the volume of labor you have on your schedule. That makes it awkward for them to request extra support from you.
Avoiding giving even more of your stuff than required is a straightforward option. You must deliberate about what is essential in your life on each given day (and week/month) in order to decide what is “required.”
Don’t be tied to your phone
Start by putting your phone on silent. If you’re anything like most individuals, you won’t find it simple to do this. At first, it can seem difficult.
But once you establish a habit of keeping your phone off whenever you need to concentrate on anything else, it will grow simpler. The more frequently you do it, the less likely it is that someone sending you a text or email when your mind needs some quiet to be innovative and productive will be able to break the habit. This is not to say that being socially active is harmful or improper; it just means that there are moments when we need to keep our brains free to focus on what we need at that specified instance (like focusing on a task, eating a meal, or working out).
Don’t get hung up on being efficient
We are often told that we must be effective don’t get too carried away or hooked up on this concept. You are not your production, and it is not necessary to be constantly occupied. Begin by concentrating on performing one activity at a time to the greatest extent possible. Slow down, pause, and try to appreciate the present situation as fully as feasible. You will notice that you have extra leisure for yourself and your dear ones.
When you are supposed to be busy 24 hours a day, spending time for yourself might feel like a silly thing. However, if you don’t take care of yourself, your happiness and well-being will diminish.
